Meet Your Trainer

Nicole Simonin was born in New Jersey and is now a resident of Salem County.  After graduating from Radford University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, she danced professionally with Ballet Theatre of Annapolis, Vineland Regional Dance Company, National Ballet of New Jersey and Pennsylvania Ballet Company. Nicole has also taught ballet, modern and jazz in New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia before returning to her roots in South Jersey. After hanging up her pointe shoes, she returned to school to earn her Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She became involved in personal training through working in physical therapy.

Nicole is certified through the American Council on Exercise -ACE (one of the top personal training companies in the USA).  Her certifications include ACE Personal Trainer and ACE Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant, Pilates (PhysicalMind Institute) and YogaFit.  She is also a member of IDEA Health and Fitness Association. Nicole frequently attends fitness seminars and continuing education courses.  Shape It Up strives to provide the highest quality of personal training and service to each client.

Nicole created Shape It Up to continue to reach out to people who have difficultly reaching their fitness goals.
