You are very close to taking significant changes to your lifestyle. Starting a fitness program at this time will help you take action on your fitness goals. Success would be moderate to high percentage at this stage if you are able to progress to the next stage (Action).
The Stages of Change are individualized. There is no set time for how long you can be in one stage. Also, you can go through different stages a couple of times. So do not be discouraged if you are not were you thought you would be. You might just need a little more time.
